Lately, my heart has been feeling a little everywhere. Being in touch with myself (spiritually, emotionally, and physically) has made me even more vulnerable and aware of my thoughts, feelings, and actions. And to be honest, this can be exhausting too. I have been reflecting on the meaning of life, my life, and how I want to experience it—without ever feeling like I am just “surviving.”
Sometimes, it is scary to dwell on the future and all the “to-do” things and goals we want to accomplish. But if I am being real, all my heart has been craving is to be somewhere in the world surrounded by nature, no phone, no internet, just a notebook and a pencil. My heart is asking me to disconnect to connect even deeper with myself, my people, my present, my purpose. I’m not sure what this phase in my life is preparing me for, but little by little I am surrendering to the call, to the pull.
Learning to fall deeper into ourselves is a gift, a blessing, an opportunity to gain wisdom from our ancestors.
But let me ask you, are you falling or running? Are you listening or avoiding?
It is easy to avoid difficult emotions or experiences, but to connect and find inner peace, you must find a sense of calm and clarity even in the midst of chaos. It's about learning to be kind and approach life with compassion and care. This can be a powerful form of healing, both for ourselves and for those around us.
So, tell me, how’s your heart feeling?
